How the recent article i read changed my view of my topic

Recently, i read an article about how Chinese women has changed from traditional staying home mothers to modern working women. After i read this article, i suddenly relalized that, instead of the distribution of resources, women are the influenced by the "One Child Policy" because they are treated totally different after practicing of this policy. Women are treated more equally and they become more independent. Therefore, i am going to change my topic in how one child policy affect resources distribution in China to how this policy affect women.

Respond to Joanne's research topic

Joanne's research topic is quite similar to mine because we are both talking about the declining of the nuclear family, but she is focusing more towards to the effect on children. It will be interesting to see how different families and social classes will affect children's growths and their futures. It will also be challeging to raise up a debate that having both biological parents will not be better off compare to other different kinds families. Besides, she is going to explore how social classes can influence pareting and this is a question that i have never thought of. I am looking forward to reading her research paper, so that i can have a chance to learn about that.
